Xoova was founded in 2006 (as DoctorsDirect.com) by Tommy McGloin, who led MapQuest and Moviefone during his ten years at AOL. Tommy holds an MBA degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University.
Xoova completed Series A financing with Spark Capital in September 2006.
